Kim grew up on a farm near Osakis, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with a B.A. in Education and a Coaching Certificate in 1977. He began his insurance career as an independent agent in 1984. Growing up on a farm provided Kim with the background and insight to become a farm specialist. In 1998, Kim took time off from his role as an agent and managed Gordon-Hartford Mutual Insurance Company in Osakis. This experience has given him a broader perspective in the insurance industry, which he continues to implement as an independent agent. Kim handles all lines of insurance and enjoys being a team builder and works diligently to make sure that every customer understands and is satisfied with their insurance coverage. Kim is an active member of Lake Community Church. He and his wife Pam have three grown, married children and 5 grandchildren. He relaxes by spending time with his family, riding motorcycle and playing guitar.
