June 17th 2010 Minnesota Tornado

The town of Almora, Minnesota was wiped out yesterday by a tornado. Wadena, Minnesota was severely affected as well. As Insurance Agents the last thing we want is for our clients to have total losses. So far we haven’t heard of any, but damages have occurred. Our companies are organizing their adjusters for our clients who were affected.  

6/22/10 update: What happens is our Companies assign whats called a CAT Crew or a Catastrophe Crew. If a home is completely leveled, more than likely they will write a check right on the spot… Why waste anymore time when there are so many damages to be assessed?
